For over a decade, TD has proudly supported programs and events during Black History Month that amplify Black voices and stories and reinforce its dedication to eliminating barriers that impede equal access.

To learn more about the bank’s progress addressing systemic racial inequity, and the active, intentional, and consistent efforts needed to make true progress in the months and years ahead we spoke to Al Ramsay, VP, LGBTQ2+ and Black Customer Segments: As leader of LGBTQ2+ & Black Customer Segments, Al and his team are focusing on creating better relationships with Black communities and businesses in which TD Black leaders, managers and financial advisors across Canada are being trained to provide elevated advice and a tailored customer experience for Black Customers, all backed by a research-based approach. This strategy is focused on accelerating the Bank’s Diversity & Inclusion journey which they have been building over the last twenty years to better support individuals from Black communities.
